The ambience at Hotel Meurice feels nostalgic, almost like stepping into a different era. I adored the lavish chandeliers and plush furniture that set the tone upon entering. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to unwind. The buffet breakfast stood out, offering a variety of fresh options like eggs made-to-order and locally sourced items that really satisfied our morning cravings. However, I did notice that some of the room furniture appeared dated, which could benefit from an upgrade. Additionally, I had some trouble with replenishing the tea and coffee supplies, as they needed to be requested from the staff. Despite these minor inconveniences, the charm and character of the hotel made our stay enjoyable, and I would be happy to return.

missingWrote a review on 07 Decking-size bedold-fashioned decortight bathroom
The room featured a king-size bed with large, luxurious square pillows that provided a comfortable night's sleep. The old-fashioned decor remained charming, giving the place a grand, nostalgic feel.
Breakfast at 15 Euros lacked variety, only offering some croissants, cereal, and juice with questionable cappuccinos. The tight separation between the loo and bathroom made it awkward to use, and the motion-sensor lights in the suite created frustration during nighttime trips.

The unique character of the place enhances its charm, especially with comfortable beds and the quaint old-style bar featuring a selection of well-stocked local beers. Monogram towels and homemade rolls add a touch of personalization. However, the decor feels outdated, corridors could use a refresh, and parts of the hotel have seen better days. Still, it remains a convenient option for an overnight stay, surrounded by local cafes and a pleasant walk to the waterfront.
